LET'S TRAVEL!

Hello again! It's been a while since we haven't updated our blog, but we've been really busy with Christmas! However, our fantastic writers don't give up dreaming, and even if we are not allowed to travel during this pandemic, we have picked up some extraordinary places around the world! This way, as soon as we are allowed to, we will have many destinations to go to! Keep reading! :)

VEGA

New York is a city in the USA where about 8 million people live. The city was created in 1624. In this city, many famous people have been born, for example, Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega. There are lots of interesting places to go in NYC. Children can go to Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State, Time's Square, the Metropolitan Museum and the MOMA. Besides, the city has many means of transport: buses, taxis and subway. I like it because it has tall buildings (skyscrapers) and because I love speaking English. The only thing I don't like is that it takes a long time to get there!

SERGIO

Masueco is a small town in Castilla y Leon (Spain). This pretty town is about 280 people and it was founded around 1300. Even if it is very small, a lot of famous people have found it fantastic, as the Spanish famous writer Miguel de Unamumo. The town itself doesn't have many facilities, although you can go to the Mesón or the Cebadero. However, you have wonderful waterfalls  and canyons in its surroundings! If you go, you must visit el Pozo de los Humos! I like everything about this little town, the only problem is that it doesn't have any means of transport.

ADRIÁN

Paris is the capital city of France. About 14 million people live here nowadays. The city is more than 1500 years old, and many famous people were born here, as Juana de Arco or Napoleon. There are lots of interesting places where children can go: many museums, as the Louvre or the Pompideu, big libraries and sport centre, the Eiffel Tower or Montmartre. Besides, you can go to Disneyland easily from the city centre! The thing I like the most about Paris is the river Seine. The only thing I don't like is that it takes a long time to arrive there.

MARCOS

My favourite city in the word is Atlanta. Atlanta is a big city in the USA and around 500.000 people live here. The city is more than 150 years old, so it's pretty new. Millie Bobby Brown lives in Atlanta, and she is my favourite actress! There are many means of transport in Atlanta, so you can travel by taxi, bus or subway. In Atlanta, you can go to the world of Coca Cola and to the Aquarium. What I like the most about Atlanta is everything, and the thing I don't like is that is very far away from Spain.

ANGELA

London is a very beautiful city in England and many people live there, about 8 million people. London is more than 1500 years old! I would love going there as it has many interesting places to visit, for example, the Big Ben, the British Museum, the Buckingham Palace and more. It also has many means of transport so you can move around the city by bus, bikes, the subway or taxis! Many famous people were born in London, as Elizabeth Taylor or Joan Collins. One thing I like about London is that museums are free. What I don' like, is that the stores in the city close very early!

EMMA

Lanzarote is one of the main islands from Canarias, in Spain. There are about 150.000 people living in its main city. In Lanzarote lives Rudy Fernandez, a very famous basketball player ( I L-O-V-E BASKETBALL!). You can go to Lanzarote by plane and there you can move around on feet, by car or by boat. In Lanzarote you can see El puerto de Carmen, the reef, many beautiful beaches and the huge volcano. The island of Lanzarote was created more than 20 million years ago. I love it because it has many beaches and I have friends there. The only thing I don't like is that it is always extremely hot.

JIMENA

Tokyo is a huge city in Japan. It has more than 12 million in habitants and today, is the biggest city in Japan. One of the most famous things in Tokyo is the Tokyo tower. Besides, Hayao Miyazaki, an internationally renowned Japanese animated film director, illustrator, mangaka and anime producer lives there. Together with Isao Takahata, he founded the Ghibli Studios, a film animation studio. Miki Matsubara was also an important person in Tokyo, a famous songwriter who has composed songs like 'stay with me'. In Tokyo, you can move by bus, subway or taxis.

OMAR

Los Angeles is a big city in California in the USA. In LA, about 4 million people live, and the city is more than 200 years old. It's famous because Sakile O'Neil or Lebron James were born there. If you go to LA, you can visit the Universal Studios, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Hollywood, and the Battleship Museum. I love the streets in LA, the only thing I don't like is that there are too many people!

JULIA

Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and more than 2 million people live there. It's a very old city and Vincent van Gogh, one of the most famous artists, was born here. In Amsterdam, you have the main means of transport, but you can also move around by boats, as it's full of canals! If you go, you can visit the house of Anna Frank or Van Gogh's museum. What I like the most are the canals, the only problem is the humidity!

As you can see, our writers have given us wonderful ideas for traveling when this pandemic comes to and end (I hope it's soon!). I can't wait to take my suitcase and start visiting all this fantastic places! Where should I start this journey?
